This printed invitation was designed to promote WAG NYE, an annual fundraising event hosted by the Winnipeg Art Gallery. The goal was to create an energetic and playful piece that reflected the creative, late-night atmosphere of the event while remaining polished and informative.
Bright colours, rounded forms, and layered type were used to evoke movement and excitement, encouraging recipients to attend and engage.
The printed invitation was adapted into a social media carousel to extend the campaign's reach online. Each slide highlights a key piece of information while maintaining strong visual continuity with the printed materials.
The carousel format allows information to be revealed gradually, encouraging interaction and increasing engagement on social platforms.
Initial brainstorming focused on themes of celebration, movement, and creativity. Keywords such as playful, bold, modern, and inclusive helped guide early visual exploration.
